The Behringer 904B voltage-controlled high-pass filter for Eurorack allows players to attenuate low frequencies and accentuate higher ones in a signal. With the fixed control voltage knob, also known as a cutoff frequency, determines the frequencies attenuated below a certain point. Switch the frequency range between low (4 Hz to 20 kHz) or high (10Hz to 50 kHz) to select what frequencies the fixed control voltage affects. The 904B can help cut through the mix for some searing lead tones, or pair with the Behringer 904A voltage-controlled low-pass filter and to create some very interesting sounds.
Inputs and Outputs
Audio in and out connectors are available on the 904B that let users process an incoming signal before sending it to another module via a 3.5 mm TS cable. The control inputs connect voltage signals from other modules to affect the cutoff frequency. Use this module to add distinct tweaks to patches to create more unique sounds.
Authentic Circuitry, Modern Flexibility
This module belongs to a series from Behringer, bringing authentic reproductions of the circuitry from the modular 55, 35 and 15 series to the convenient Eurorack modular format. Since the 1970s, these synths have been used by some of the world’s most famous pop, rock and jazz musicians. Now, musicians can build their very own, unique synthesizer that can fit in a standard Eurorack case for a very affordable price. Mix and match specific modules to create a personal sound to complement any genre of music.
Eurorack Ready
Installing the 904B voltage controlled high pass filter is simple, as it was designed to fit into a standard Eurorack case. Just connect the power cables to the power supply and mount the module using the included screws. This allows for the 904B to be mixed with other synth modules for a truly unique setup.
